I am Dheza Marie Aguilar and this blog is a collection of my published articles and videos. This is not a complete collection as I have just recently started gathering my articles from the web and have lost so much videos that I would have wanted to post here.
My experience goes way back 2004 when I started as an intern in Global Destiny Cable and was promoted to field reporter, news desk editor, producer and director for travel and political talk shows, while doing marketing works for Indo's Strip Bar and Restaurant owned by Mike Bulaong.
I transferred to another company, Orientphil Production in 2006 and handled the medical show Infomedico hosted by Dr. Esperanza Cabral and other in-house productions. While at Orientphil, I also moonlighted in cooking shows, fashion shows and other events as a production assistant. In 2006 I started Digital Juice Video Production, a small editing outfit for students, wedding and event's video. For a while, I was producing reports for One Morning of RPN 9.NBN 4 and IBC 13 and a couple of videos for AOWA and Pilipinas Teleserv and Department of Natural Resources.
In between, I have worked for production companies like Fearless Production for their first mixed martial arts competition, Philippine Sports Commission as a writer and coordinator for the 2007 Asian Clay Shooting Championship in the Philippines.
But my passion is in writing. I started writing for the lifestyle section Manila Standard Today in 2007 and health section of Manila Bulletin few months after. Every once in a while, I still send articles for these newspapers. A couple of my article were also published in Philippine Daily Inquirer and Philippine Star and one short story in Liwayway Magazine. Sometimes I write press releases and two of my clients were clothing company Get Laud and Roura Derm Surgery Clinic.
I have settled in the Netherlands since 2008 and have found a job in the logistic sector. But I can't shake off the love for broadcasting, journalism and lifestyle writing. Working on my full time job for the dough, I freelance as a correspondent for ABS-CBN Europe and contributor for http://www.abs-cbnews.com/ and writes travel articles for the love of my craft. So far Ive been published in The Holland Times, an expat English paper here in Holland, Travelife Magazine, the best in Southeast Asia and soon in Home Style magazine Philippines. I used to write online contents for Netherlands India Desk (http://www.nidesk.net/) and SR Works (http://www.srworks.biz/) in India.
I travel around Europe, dive into gastronomic adventures every once in a while and drinks Macallan to fuel my love for life and my passion to write.
